KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — The United Way is significantly short of its 2012 fundraising goal, but volunteers have pledged to continue working through the end of the year to raise as much as possible.
Campaign chairman Jeff Daniels says only 70 percent of the $755,000 goal has been raised. He says they have yet to hear from loyal donors and ask everyone to donate what they can.
99 cents of each dollar raised is used to support 21 local Klamath Basin agencies and donations are tax-deductible.
Contributions can be sent to United Way at 136 N. Third Street in Klamath
