Crews worked to remove dirt, rock and vegetation that dropped onto the North Umpqua Highway Sunday. The landslide occurred near Tokatee and officials had one lane cleared as of Sunday afternoon.
On the Powers Highway near the Coquille River, a section collapsed. It is about 180 feet and according to 541radio.com, it occurred about halfway between the junction of Oregon 42 and the city of Powers. ODOT says the single lane closure will likely continue for a while.
