The Oregon Tech Lady Owls swept the first weekend of Cascade Collegiate Conference basketball play, beating Corban and Northwest Christian.
Nicole Aboumrad led four Lady Owls in double digits. She had 16 points in a 73-65 win over Corban, but head coach Scott Meredith couldn’t say enough about the 13 minutes he got from freshman Karly Leveque.
OIT is 8-2 on the season, 2-0 in conference and winners of six straight. The Lady Owls beat NCU on Saturday 56-50.

OIT Men Split During Opening Weekend
Oregon Tech men’s hoops opened CCC play at Corban on Friday as well.

The Owls won 73-59 and picked up two three pointers from Flint on the night. Mihajlo Matic scored a game-high 15 points and Alex Zerbach had a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds.
OIT lost Saturday 63-52 to Northwest Christian.
