MEDFORD, Ore. — A reward for information about an escaped Jackson County inmate is now $6,000.
Authorities continue to investigate leads regarding Bradley Monical, who was awaiting trial in March for a 2010 Ashland bank robbery. The sheriff’s office said Tuesday they’re canvassing the nearby areas.
Investigators say Monical stood on another inmate’s shoulders on the night of Nov. 19, removed a piece of metal mesh from the roof covering, and jumped into a nearby tree.
The tree has since been cut down, along with several others nearby.
The roof cover, atop a recreation area, is being replaced with a stronger material.
