Bomb threats called to 17 counties statewide



KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — The bomb threat that prompted the evacuation of the entire Klamath County Courthouse and Government Center Monday afternoon was also called in to 16 other courthouses in Oregon.

Oregon State Police officials they don’t know of any suspicious packages found following the threats on Monday, and the State Police bomb squad did not respond.

The incidents Monday in Oregon follow similar threats in Washington and Nebraska earlier this month.

A Salem office building housing the State Police headquarters also received a threat and was evacuated.
