KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — A new elementary school is the main project that the Klamath County School District will seek if a $30 million bond passes in May.
The goal would be to build a new Henley Elementary.
Principal Janell Preston told NBC-2 that the existing modular classrooms pose challenges because there is no gym, no cafeteria and no common areas. 20 of the $30 million would be used for the school.
Preston says about 400 students attend the school.
There is a bus tour of the impacted schools scheduled for Thursday morning at 9 a.m.
