Owls bust open a win against Multnomah

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — The Oregon Tech Hustlin’ Owls are now 4-1 after an 86-64 win over Multnomah University. A rebounding margin of 49-23 and double digit scoring from Mahijlo Matic and David Clarke helped the Owls distance themselves with a 21-5 run in the second half.

Clarke, returning from a hand injury, made his first field goals of the year after going 0 for 11 in his first start of the season.

Ahead for OIT is the Midland Empire Classic in Klamath Falls. The Owls will play William Jessup on Friday before Holy Names on Saturday. Both games start at 7:30 p.m. (92-5 KLAD – 7 p.m.).

The Lady Owls play this weekend too. With a 2-2 record, Tech will face William Jessup followed by Cal-Maritime. Both games are 5:30 p.m. starts (960 the Sports Legend – 5:15 p.m.)

Oregon Tech Owls Coaches Show

The Oregon Tech Owls Coaches Show is back from Gino’s Cafe and Sports Bar on East Main Street in Klamath Falls. Starting Wednesday night and every Wednesday from Nov. 28 through the end of March, the Oregon Tech basketball coaches will join 960 the Sports Legend from 7 – 8 p.m.
