In the race for Klamath County Commissioner seats, Republican Tom Mallams defeated Independent Kirk Oakes 72 to 27 percent.
Mallams takes over position 1 on the board of commissioners.
Mallams will debut on the board with position 3 winner Jim Bellet, who ran unopposed.
Bellet is familiar with his new commissioner-mate Mallams.
In the Klamath County Assessor’s race, Leonard Hill beat incumbent Rafael Ivan Hernandez 52 to 47 percent.
