Friday night is the season opener for the Oregon Tech Owls men’s basketball team, as Danny Miles and crew will host UC-Merced at 7:30 p.m.

OIT is off its third national championship season when it set a school-record for victories with 34. This year’s Oregon Tech team has a new look with no returning starters set to play Friday night.

Still, Miles is confident.
