KU girls; Mazama’s Delaney qualify for state

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Our Charter Student Athlete of the Month for September Todd Delaney qualified for the OSAA Cross Country State Championship after placing fourth at Wednesday’s Skyline Conference Cross Country meet at Henley High School.

He finished in between North Valley and Hidden Valley runners – both of those teams made the state meet which will be Nov. 3 at Lane Community College in Eugene.

The Klamath Union girls team is off to Eugene with two-time defending state champ Alisha Luna placing second behind Hidden Valley’s Sierra Brown. KU’s Christina Tyson, Cindy Reed and Tiela Roland were also top seven finishers.
