HS Volleyball Round-Up: Hosanna yet to lose conf. set

The Mazama Vikings volleyball team has dropped three matches in a row heading into tonight’s game with Phoenix. Mazama lost 3-1 to Hidden Valley on Wednesday to drop to 6-9 on the year. Hidden Valley is now 9-5 and 7-1 in the Skyline Conference after losing to Henley last week.

After winning two in a row, Henley is now 4-4 in league after losing at Phoenix in straight sets Wednesday. Henley plays at Klamath Union tonight at 6:30 p.m., when KU looks to snap a seven game losing streak. North Valley is 3-5 and plays at Hidden Valley tonight.

The Lakeview Honkers lost for the first time in four matches Tuesday against Bonanza. 4-2 Lakeview is at Cascade Christian tonight. Bonanza remained undefeated after beating Lakeview and plays 2-3 Chiloquin tonight. Chiloquin has won two straight. Lost River was swept by Rogue River yesterday for its seventh loss in a row.

Hosanna Christian is 13-0 after a straight sets win against Triad. Hosanna is yet to lose a set in conference games. Triad is 2-11. Prospect’s only loss is to Hosanna Christian and the two play again tomorrow at 4 p.m.
