KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — A new board member is needed for the school board of Klamath Falls City Schools. Mark Halverson resigned in September and his position was officially declared vacated during last Monday’s meeting. Interested replacements must reside within the Conger attendance area – zone No. 3 – and be a registered voter. Applications are available at the superintendent’s office and must be received by Oct. 29.
In Lake County, the school district’s board chairman Rick Angelozzi resigned and a replacement for him is needed. Interested parties must be a registered voter and have lived in the district for one year. District superintendent Sean Gallagher told the Herald and News applications are being accepted and letters of interest should be sent to the Superintendent’s office.
