ODOT Public Information Officer Rick Little says this is good news for motorists.
The tunnel, which is critical for traveling to Klamath County, is located between the town of Oakridge and the Highway 97 junction. The tunnel was built in the 1930s and Little says the half viaducts need modified.
Night time closures will return in the spring.
