KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — A one-vehicle crash Sunday night took the life of a Keno man.
21-year-old Jake Zachariah Harmon was determined dead at the scene after Klamath County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of the crash.
A preliminary investigation indicates Harmon missed a right-hand, sweeping corner and his vehicle impacted trees head-on off the road, according to a sheriff’s office news release. An 18-inch in diameter tree was “sheered off when the pickup truck left the roadway.”
The investigation is continuing, but deputies believe speed and alcohol were a factor. Keno fire assisted at the scene.
