No. 4 Klamath Union back to Modoc Friday night



Klamath Union plays Friday night ranked fourth in the state Associated Press poll. The Pelicans host the Yreka Miners at Modoc Field in a battle of unbeaten teams. KU kept its record unblemished with a 17-7 win over Summit – a game where the Pels gave up the football four times in the opening half.

Senior linebacker and tight end Mitch Mirande is part of the group implementing those adjustments. He knew his defense would be critical to ensure the turnovers didn’t hurt their chances to win.
