KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — A stolen car was recovered following a short chase and search for the suspect Sunday afternoon. 35-year-old Frederick L. Vierria was arrested following the incident in the Pacific Terrace area of Klamath Falls after he abandoned the 1997 BMW Z3 convertible following a short pursuit. He was discovered hiding by a K-9 Klamath Falls Police unit and arrested on charges including Unlawful Use of a Vehicle and Reckless Driving. Vierria also had four outstanding warrants for his arrest.

Other Klamath County Arrests

Also arrested Monday was 51-year-old Lynette Jean Wanless of La Pine on counts of fourth-degree assault and several menacing charges. Bail for Wanless set at $83,000. 35-year-old James Ethridge Godowa III of Klamath Falls was also arrested Monday on chages including strangulation and is held on $30,000 bail.
