ASHLAND, Ore. — $6,500 is being offered for information leading to a conviction after the deaths of three cows and two calves near Ashland.
Oregon State Police Senior Trooper Jim Collom found the animals dead in a meadow last Sunday. Four animals were within 100 yards of each other.
The animals may have been shot and were killed around Labor Day weekend, according to Collom.
The Oregon Cattleman’s Association and the Humane Society of the United States are among those contributing to the reward fund.
