Weekend Cross Country Results

Todd Delaney was the top Oregon Basin boys finisher at this weekend’s Yreka Elks Invitational, registering a 12th place finish at 17:55.88. Zane Riggs led the Henley boys running for 36th with a time of 20:11.46 followed by sophomore teammate Justin Rogers at 20:33.51.

Leta Spradley was the Henley girls top finisher, also in 36th place, with a time of 26:05.33.

KU’s Luna Wins Nevada Race

At the Nevada Twilight in Sparks, Klamath Union’s Alisha Luna won by nearly 20 seconds over the next finisher. Luna crossed in 15:36. Teammate Christina Tyson and Cindy Reed also finished in the top 20.

Lucas Crebbin was the Pelicans top boys finisher in 34th in 14:34.

Triad’s Estabrook Wins Lakeview Event

Sarah Estabrook of Triad beat Burns’ Madison Winn to take the 5,000 meters title at the Lakeview Invitational last Saturday. The junior registered a 22:25.08 time, with teammate Erin Estabrook coming in third at 26:35.45.

Paisley’s Adam Arrington was the boys top finisher with a 21:49.62 finish ahead of Lakeview’s Nick Wiebelhaus’ 22:07.52 time. Paisley’s Dillon Walton was third at 22:22.66.
