Butte Valley Bulldogs
(2011 Record: 12-0;  Won NSCIF Championship 38-34 over Dunsmuir)

The 2011 Butte Valley Bulldogs dealt with great adversity, supporting each other through car accidents involving coaches and players, to win a NSCIF championship. 10th year coach Jason Allen says the experience of last season will help his team continue to excel at preparation in a title defense year.

The Bulldogs already played a game this season and it was costly. Five starters were injured from a squad that already needed to replace two key defensive ends from last year. The end position is crucial in eight-man football, where Butte Valley’s goal is to keep opposing offenses inside the hash marks.
