2012 Preview: Lost River Raiders

Lost River Raiders
(2011 Record: 8-4; 2-0 2A Southern Cascade League – Lost 50-0 to Scio in state quarterfinals )

The Lost River Raiders haven’t lost a conference game since 2008. Coincidentally, they haven’t been able to beat Scio in the OSAA 2A Football State Championship playoffs in the last three years. Lost River is hoping while one thing stays the same, the other changes in 2012, respectively.

The “Dean of the 2A Southern Cascade League” is head coach Dennis Dunlea, who brings a bigger and more experienced front line to the field this year. However, the challenge for the Raiders is how the position players pan out, including quarterback Tannor Stradley, who played QB his freshman and sophomore years before being used primarily as a runner last season. Stradley and his teammates are confident they have what it takes to win a fourth straight SCL championship.
