A meeting is scheduled on Thursday for Klamath officials to discuss privatization of ground ambulance services.
The Klamath Community Public Safety Advisory Committee will see a presentation from Emergency Airlift CEO Edward Langerveld regarding privatization of ground ambulance services as a viable option. Langerveld is expected to suggest that privatizing services will help alleviate a tax burden from the public.
Privately-operated services are common in other parts of the state.
The meeting was arranged at the request of the Public Safety Committee and will be held at 3 p.m. at the Klamath County Government Center.
