Parks Board to meet Thursday on land’s fate

The Klamath Falls Park Advisory Board meets Thursday and has a request to surplus a recently-acquired piece of land near Front and California Street.

The agenda states if the board endorses and City Council approves a surplus designation for the area of just over an acre, and allows it to be sold, the Parks Division will use the money to offset the purchase price of $7,500 it paid the county assessor’s office to acquire it.

The meeting is at 5 p.m. Thursday at City Hall.
