LAKEVIEW, Ore. — A 10,000 acre fire continued to burn on Tuesday afternoon. Roads have been closed as crews continue to contain the blaze, with windy conditions Monday not helping them create a perimeter. The use of existing roads was in the plan Tuesday to try and contain the fire.

The area is approximately 24 miles and over 250 people are working on the fire. It was started by lightning and might not be fully contained for another two weeks according to Tuesday’s estimates.
