MEDFORD, Ore. –Mountain bikers crashing on trails near Mount Ashland may see incidents of fallen logs and ropes on trails come to a close. A man arrested by the Forest Service could be responsible for the most recent episodes of trail sabotage.

The arrest followed Ashland Mountain Adventures owner Bill Roussell spotting the man early on Sunday shortly before he found a log dragged across the trail. There were other logs also.

Roussell made the call to the Forest Service and the man was arrested. A Forest Service spokesman confirmed an arrest, but wouldn’t comment on the case.
