Over the weekend, you’ll hear a gun battle take place at Moore Park. It’s not World War III, but the Cascade Civil War Society will have a reenactment.
With a small cost, history fans can watch two Civil War Battles. Cascade Civil War Society secretary Tami Klus says the event is exciting and educational.
Bringing the event to life will be an 1859 Berdan Sharps and a 44-caliber 1861 Colt Army. Klus says two cannons will be on the battlefield.
There will be two battles at Moore Park. Gates open at 9 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
