Goebel’s double sparks Falcons over Mid Valley

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — After a miscommunication about the start time, the Klamath Falls Falcons and Mid Valley Rockets played a seven-inning game Monday at Kiger Stadium.

The result was an opportunity for Alden Goebel to win the game in walk-off fashion. Goebel hit a two-run double in the seventh inning to boost the Falcons past the Rockets of Albany 11-10 at Kiger Stadium Monday.
