David was taken from us on July 5th, 2012, in Springfield, OR, at Sacred Heart Medical Center at River Bend. He died from natural causes. He was 42 years old.
David was Born in Klamath Falls, OR, on July 27, 1969. He was the son of Denise Rose and Larry Spivey.
He is survived by his parents, as well as the man who raised him, his ex-stepfather Gary L. Rose. He is also survived by his grandmothers, Hazel Lewis and Dorothy Spivey, his brother, Brent (Kathy), Jason, and a sister, MiChelle, as well as his uncle, Mike (Vickie) Spivey. He also leaves behind two nieces and 2 nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Max Lewis and Earl Spivey.
David attended Klamath Union High School and was attending Lane Community College when he was injured in a car accident in 1992 that resulted in a traumatic brain injury. He fought a hard battle for over 20 years and is now in a better place, hopefully fishing with his Grandpa.
David was a deep thinker, a whirling dervish, and a comedian, all rolled into a ball. He was always up to something and was never boring. He lived his short life hard and fast and his way. We wil miss him so much.
Per David’s wishes, there will be a private family memorial at a future date.
