KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — The latest crop of cross country and track and field athletes has been announced by Oregon Tech. The most recent signees include local distance runner Eli Patrick. Patrick scored a personal best 52.18 in the 400 meters and 2:04.78 in the 800. Patrick is joined by fellow in-stater Sean Crompton of Hood River who posted 17:39 in the 5,000 meters. Nathan Shirley from Hawaii and California runners Jeff Pelarde and Jesse Dorado were also added.
On the women’s side, Elissa Brouillard and Kelly Coash from Phoenix will join the Owls net year. Both ran the 1500 and 5K events last year.
Coach Jack Kegg likes the class he’s brought in, saying it is strong in numbers.
