Riding a four-game West Coast League winning streak, the Klamath Falls Gems play a game Tuesday night and one Wednesday at Kiger Stadium outside of league.

The Gems are off a sweep of the Kelowna Falcons to move within six games of a playoff spot approaching the second half of the season.

Tuesday’s game sees the Gems play the Redding Colt-45s at 7:05 p.m. (960 the Sports Legend – 6:30 p.m.), hoping to continue momentum into Friday’s WCL series at Kitsap.

Before Tuesday’s game there is a police versus firefighters charity softball game at 5 p.m. before first pitch.

Klamath Falls Black Sox

The Klamath Falls Black Sox club baseball team swept its games on Sunday at Steen Sports Park and play next Sunday in Klamath Falls.

The Klamath Falls Falcons are idle until this weekend’s Corvallis tournament. The North Hawks are at Crater Tuesday night, while the South Hawks play at Grants Pass Tuesday morning.
