KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — Klamath Falls City Manager Rick Whitlock is stepping down. In his resignation letter to the mayor and city council, Whitlock said he has accepted a job as the lead counsel for another Oregon government that he says provides a great opportunity to return to the legal profession. Whitlock became the city manager in 2010 after serving as the city attorney since 2000. The city council will talk about how to replace Whitlock at today’s meeting.
