Dog left for dead at Southern Oregon clinic

ROGUE RIVER, Ore. — A gruesome scene at a Southern Oregon animal clinic when a 2-year-old dog was found bloody and tied to the porch. Now the dog’s survival is dependant on his jaw staying wired together. A veternarian told the Mail Tribune that the dog is eating watered-down food though.

Rogue River police say a gun’s muzzle was stuck in the dog’s mouth and the trigger pulled. The incident could result in a felony is the incident was not due to the dog viciously charging the shooter. People have the right to defend themselves in that situation.
