Whooping cough cases increase

KLAMATH COUNTY, Ore. — Health officials across the country are warning that whooping cough cases are up. Oregon joins a number of states with increased cases of pertussis, also known as the highly contagious whooping cough. There have been no reported cases so far this year in Klamath County, but vaccinations are still encouraged. It’s especially dangerous for infants.
