Man faces several charges after driving car into A Canal

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — 25-year old Tyler Andrew Palardy was arrested this week after allegedly driving his mother’s car into the A Canal, intending to harm his girlfriend who was a passenger in the car. He’s been charged with two counts of first-degree animal abuse after a dog died in the accident, also first-degree criminal mischief, offensive littering within 100 feet of a waterway, recklessly endangering and initiating a false police report. He is being held in the Klamath County Jail in lieu of $37,000 bail.
