Tuition to increase at OIT

SALEM, Ore. — Students at the Oregon Institute of Technology are trying to get used to the idea of a tuition increase. The State Board of Education approved the hike Friday, and that means tuition at Oregon’s seven public universities will go up by an average of six percent this fall. Oregon residents taking 15 credit hours will see tuition rise by 7.2 percent at OIT. There will be some fee cuts to offset the tuition increase.
