Library and McDonalds team up for summer reading program

The Klamath County Library and McDonald’s are sponsoring a pre-registration event for the library’s summer reading program. On Saturday June 16 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Campus Drive location, McDonald’s will give away books to first 300 children who sign up for the summer reading program. The Klamath County Library will start registration for the summer reading program at all branch libraries and at the main library downtown on Thursday, June 21 during the Third Thursday event from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The library’s “Dream Big, Read!” program includes all ages. Participants can read for prizes, see professional performers or join craft days at their nearest library.
