KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — At Thursday’s Skyline Conference track and field meet at Oregon Tech, Mazama’s Paul Adams and Henley’s Zorg Loustalet qualified for the state meet next week at Hayward Field in Eugene. The two earned 3,000-meter bids, as did Klamath Union’s Alisha Luna on the girls side.

KU’s Nicolai Luce and Mazama’s Dirks Mathias also tallied state-qualifying performances in the pole vault. Henley’s Anne Porsholdt makes it in the long jump.

North Lake Baseball Upset

In baseball, Gold Beach upsets North Lake 8-6, keeping North Lake from joining Lost River in the 2A state tournament field.
