The 4A OSAA Tennis State Championships open Thursday at the University of Oregon. Two boys doubles teams from Henley will begin play with Adam O’Farrell and Zachary Leininger going against a pair of sophomores from Oregon Episcopal. The team has to go through four matches to make the final. With a win, they will go against the No. 1 pairing in the tournament tomorrow.

Jacob Mangan and Alex Mangan open with sophomores from McLoughlin and face a similarly tough road, potentially facing the No. 2 group with wins today and what will be an early day match Friday.

Megan Conley will play girls singles for Henley today against Crook County’s Natasha Weirsch. Klamath Union’s Marisa Doveri received an opening round bye, waiting until tomorrow to get started.
