Western US to have good views of a Solar Eclipse

A solar eclipse is coming up this weekend meaning the moon blocks out the sun and leaves a visible ring of light around its circumference. This will add to a good month of moon views – it was back on May 5th that we had the so-called “supermoon” when the moon was as close to the earth as it could get and was the largest and brightest full moon of the year. On May 20th, a solar eclipse is expected late in the day. The best views of the complete eclipse will be in the western half of the US.
