Several in Klamath Falls receive prison sentences

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — District Attorney Edwin Caleb’s office says new prison sentences were handed down this week.

Daniel Salazar was sentenced to 70 months in prison for violating his probation on Domestic Violence charges.

21-year old Matthew Xavier Kara gets 90 months in prison for an assault that caused serious physical injury to a child under the age of 6 years old. The child suffered a brain bleed and a broken arm.

26-year old Cody Lawrence Dupont gets 14 months in prison for violating his probation by failing to notify his probation officer of an address change, and for admitting to the use of methamphetamine.
