Pedestrian seriously hurt after being hit on bike path

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — Oregon State Police are investigating a bicycle versus pedestrian accident that happened yesterday afternoon on the bike path in Klamath Falls near Shasta Way. Troopers say 57-year old Ralph Watah tried to pass the pedestrian, 66-year old Darwin Edwards, and the two collided. Edwards was taken by ambulance to Sky Lakes Medical Center then airlifted to Bend with serious injuries. The investigation continues.
