ROGUE RIVER, Ore. — Medford schools Cascade Christian and St. Mary’s won the team titles at Tuesday’s Chieftain Invitational at Rogue River High School, but Basin teams represented well.

Lost River’s boys and girls teams placed second and third, respectively, with distance runner Lindsey Barrows finishing second in the girls 1,500 meters.

Barrows also helped the Lost River 4 x 400 relay team to a second place finish. The 4 x 100 team also was a runner-up.

Lakeview’s Sophia Landau holds the state’s best marks in the 200- and 400-meter races, running the fastest times at Tuesday’s meet. Her 400-meter time was the under a minute, but Landau says she has more time to cut down.
