KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – US Rep. Greg Walden held a town hall meeting Saturday, and said he wants to hold Congressional hearings on the Klamath Basin Restoration Agreement and Klamath Hydroelectic Settlement Agreement. At issue are things like power rates and stabilizing water supplies for irrigators, plus the well-documented removal of four Klamath River dams. Legislation has already been introduced, but no hearings have been held so far.

So sad. It’s clear that Greg Walden has drunk the Kool-aid. He has always portrayed himself as a true conservative, but here, he shows us that he’s really just another big-government politician. Now, we have to do everything possible to inform the rest of his committee that we the people don’t want our dams removed!
