KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Farmers and ranchers in Klamath County had a good year last year, grossing $283.7 million. That’s up $56 million from 2010. The full allotment of water along with strong commodity prices get the credit. The OSU Klamath Basin Research and Extension Center says hay, alfalfa and cattle especially, continue to draw high prices.
