State investigates local show for possible Equal Time violation


KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Equal time must be provided to both sides in a political race, and the Secretary of State’s Elections Division looking into a complaint in Klamath County that, that didn’t happen on “This Week in Klamath County,” hosted by Joe Spendolini. It’s filmed with county equipment and airs on the county’s website and public access channel. The complaint stems from interviews with two Republicans running for the State House and Senate, but not their opponents. If there was a violation, the fine is $75.
