Irrigators will get more water than initially expected

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – The Bureau of Reclamation has released its 2012 Operations Plan for the Klamath Project and the picture is much brighter than it was earlier this year. Project irrigation water supply from Upper Klamath Lake from April 1 through September 30 is expected to be 80 percent of average. The Bureau will continue to address potential shortages with the Klamath Water and Power Agency.
