MURPHY, Ore. — Klamath Union won eight events between its boys and girls teams at Wednesday’s Hidden Valley track and field meet.
The Crebbins and Bocchis stood out, with Morgan Crebbin winning the 400 meters and being part of the KU 4×400 relay team, winning with Tyler Butler, Justice Morris and Tee Nguyen.
Lucas Crebbin won the 800 meters, with Collin Bocchi throwing over 154 feet to win the javelin. The Pelicans also won the pole vault on Nick Wogan’s 11 feet 6 inches effort.
On the girls side, Jessica Bocchi raced to a win in the 300 meter hurdles. KU also won two field events, with Greylin Rice victorious in the shot put and Dannie Horn in the triple jump.
Henley’s Zorg Loustalet was the only other Basin winner, crossing the finish line first in the 3,000 meters.
