Oregon’s Jones Leads Way To Win

In Los Angeles, Aaron Jones homered twice as No. 22 Oregon upset No. 5 UCLA 6-2 to open a three-game series. It is the fourth straight win for the Ducks. Alex Kuedell pitched seven shutout innings, winning his third straight start after starting 1-3. Game two tonight at 6 p.m.

Ducks And Beavers Earn All-Academic Honors

Oregon men’s basketball senior Garrett Sim earned Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention honors it was announced Thursday by the conference office, with OSU’s Rhys Murphy earning first team acknowledgement. On the women’s side, Oregon’s Amanda Johnson received her third straight award, with Laura Stanulis, Danielle Love and Deanna Weaver and OSU’s Alyssa Martin were chosen as well.

Beavers Wrestling Coach Recognized

Oregon State wrestling head coach Jim Zalesky was selected Pac-12 Coach of the Year.
