KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Good news in terms of the Klamath County jobless rate. The seasonally adjusted rate for February was 11.2 percent, which is the lowest it’s been since October 2008. The Oregon Employment Department says the numbers show a positive trend. In the past, decreases in the unemployment rate have included job seekers getting frustrated and giving up. Now the jobless rate is falling because unemployed people are finding jobs.
