Klamath County not alone in jail struggles

Josephine County

GRANTS PASS, Ore. – As Klamath County continues to deal with financial issues at the jail, it appears Josephine County is having similar struggles. That jail has been forced to shut down a cellblock because so many deputies have moved on to other jobs – so far three corrections officers have quit and 3 more resignations are pending. The Grants Pass Courier reports 30 of the 150 inmates will have to be released this week.
