Irrigators will get water to start the season

Upper Klamath Lake

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – The irrigation picture is looking a little brighter this spring. Klamath Basin irrigators learned late last week at the annual water users meeting that it’s likely all will get water, at least at the beginning of the season. The Klamath Reclamation Project will start priming irrigation canals and pumps April 1, and water delivery to all irrigators should be on time. Rains would help ensure those deliveries can continue through the irrigation season.
